Abstract

This dam has been classified as unsafe, emergency by the St. Louis District as a result of the application of the following criteria: This dam, which has no formal spillway, cannot retain the 10-year frequency flood without overtopping of the dam occurring. Overtopping could result in dam failure. Dam failure significantly increases the hazard to life and property downstream.
