Utilization of Tactical Computers for Training: Field Evaluation Plan

Abstract

This report describes Phase V in the development of TACFIRE Automated Instruction (AI) courseware. The overall project is aimed at extending the scope of CAI to the development of self-instructive procedures and programs for users of tactical data processing systems. This report covers the evaluation plan as such: procedures and methodology for performing a review of the TACFIRE courseware content, procedures and requirements for demonstrating the execution of TACFIRE courseware on the ARI and TACFIRE operating systems and the procedures for assessing the acceptability of TACFIRE AI courseware by field artillery personnel.
