Biophysics of Water: A Working Conference.

Abstract

A working conference on the biophysics of water was held at the University of Cambridge, England, on June 29 - July 3, 1981. The conference highlighted four major areas of research: Molecular Hydration and Biological Function, Surface Forces in Biological Systems, Water as an Agent of Homeostasis in Organisms, and Physiological Water Stress. This report contains discussions and observations on presentation that were of special interest to the author. It also contains recommendations about future areas of research. (Author)
