Abstract

The purpose of this report is to shed light on the question of the effectiveness of flood warning and preparedness alternatives and to suggest means of improving effectiveness. It is also intended as an aid to those considering the investigation and formulation of a community-level flood warning and preparedness alternative. (Author)
