Investigation of Visual Performance after Administration of Cholinergic Blocking Agents. I. Benactyzine.

Abstract

We have investigated the effects of 4.14 mg of Benactyzine HCI (injected I/M) on vision and vision function. We measured the time course and severity of Benactyzine effects on visual acuity for static and moving targets, amplitude of accommodation, contrast thresholds, pupil size and response, color vision, glare recovery, oculomotor function and intraocular pressure.
