PATCHES-III User's Manual.

Abstract

PATCHES-III is a computer program for the analysis of general three-dimensional composite structures and materials. The program constructs solid geometry models and material distribution models using parametric cubic basis functions. Available finite elements range from the 64 node CCC element to the 4 node LLX element for axisymmetric models. The User's Manual is the dictionary or archive source for definitions of all available program options. The program determines the linear elastic response of fully anisotropic composites to thermal loads, mechanical loads and imposed displacements. (Author)
