Acceleration Measures and Motion Sickness Incidence.
Abstract
An important aspect of motion sickness research is to establish quantitative relationships between sickness incidence and various parameters of the motions that induce sickness. At present, however, only wholebody vertical sinusoidal motion has been studied to any reasonable degree. The purpose of this report is to examine the predictive utility of six different characterizations of sinusoidal motion and to investigate their possible extension to dual frequency motion. (Author)
