Study for Improving the Definition of the Army Objective Force Methodology, Phase II (IDOFOR II). Volume I. Executive Summary.

Abstract

This study provides the Army with an improved methodology to support the exercise of its planning responsibilities within the PPBS. The research effort developed an analytical basis for the design and evaluation of the Army objective force, 10-12 years in the future; provides an interface between mid-range and long-range planning; and has the capability to analyze a designated force from the program force to the planning force.
