Storage System Optimization,

Abstract

This report focuses on optimization procedures for the design and evaluation of storage system alternatives, including block stacking, single-deep and double-deep pallet rack, and deep lane storage. The development and application of analytical models are demonstrated for the design of storage systems based on floor space utilization and handling time criteria. (Author)
