P-Values for Multi-Stage and Sequential Tests.

Abstract

P-values are commonly given for ordinary single stage statistical tests. In this note we give a general method for calculating p-values for a large class of multi-stage and sequential tests. We also give some tables of p-values for multi-stage tests about the parameter of an exponential distribution when test plans from MIL-STD-781C are used. (Author)
