Surface Statistics Investigations.

Abstract

Results are reported of two investigations on surface structural properties of optical glasses. One project dealt with surface profiling analyses of a set of fused silica samples which had previously been laser damage tested. The other project had to do with the roughening of polished quartz and BK7 glasses by extended periods of ultrasonic cleaning. (Author)
