Electron Transmission through and Reflection by an Arbitrary Set of Square Potential Steps.

Abstract

An exact analytic solution has been derived for the transmission of electrons through a series of up to six square potential steps. From these an algorithm is derived which readily gives the solution for any arbitrary number of square potential steps. (Author)
