Sediment Deposits in Drainage Ditches

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to estimate one of the off farm costs of cropland soil loss, sediment removal from drainage ditches. Information is compiled about the cost of sediment removal, characteristics of the drainage ditch and land area draining into the ditch.
