Performance Technology Program (PTP-S II). Volume II. A Three- Dimensional Inviscid Blunt Body Code for Asymmetric Nosetips in Pitch and Yaw

Abstract

This report documents modifications made to the Moretti inviscid three-dimensional blunt body code to remove the assumption of a pitch plane of symmetry. Details are provided on the analysis required to extend this code to treat fully asymmetric nosetip geometries at both angle of attack and sideslip. Modifications to the code inputs required for this capability are also described. (Author)
