Implementation Aspects of Flood Warning and Preparedness Planning Alternatives

Abstract

The objectives of the investigation were to shed light on the policy and procedural considerations related to planning, implementation and operation of flood warning and preparedness alternatives and to suggest implementation approaches. A review of the legal liability issues involved in implementing and operating flood warning systems is included. (Author)
