Syntactic Visual Image Generation System Feasibility Study

Abstract

During phase 1 of the Syntactic Visual Image Generation program; Boeing has investigated several methods of implementing a pipelined multiprocessor - multimemory image generation system. Also, Boeing has assessed architectures for a fractal-object processor and has developed high level simulations to predict performance and architecture feasibility. Additionally, cost/performance analysis and possible VLSI implementation of the various architectures have been assessed.
