Environmental Impact Study of The Northern Section of the Upper Mississippi River, Minnesota River Pool.

Abstract

The overall objects of this report are to assess the impacts of Corps of Engineers' activities on the Minnesota River from Shakopee, Minnesota downstream to its mouth. The report includes an analysis of natural and socioeconomic systems. The natural systems include terrestrial and aquatic plant and animal life, geology and water quality. This includes the habitats of rare and endangered species. Socioeconomic systems include industrial and recreational activities, and cultural considerations, such as archaeological and historic sites. (Author)
