Environmental Impact Study of the Northern Section of the Upper Mississippi River, St. Croix River Pool.

Abstract

The overall objectives of this report are to assess the impacts of Corps of Engineers' activities on the St. Croix River from Stillwater, Minnesota, downstream to its mouth. The report includes an analysis of natural and socioeconomic systems. The natural systems include terrestrial and aquatic plant and animal life, geology and water quality. This includes habitats of rare and endangered species. Socioeconomic systems include industrial activities, recreation, and cultural considerations, including archaeological and historic sites.
