Environmental Impact Study of the Northern Section of the Upper Mississippi River, Upper and Lower St. Anthony Falls Pool.

Abstract

The overall objectives of this report are to assess the impacts of Corps of Engineers' activities on the St. Anthony Falls Upper and Lower pools (Minneapolis, Minnesota) on the Mississippi River. The report includes an analysis of natural and socioeconomic systems. The natural systems include terrestrial and aquatic plant and animal life, geology and water quality. Socioeconomic systems include industrial activities, recreation, and cultural considerations, such as archaeological and historic sites. (Author)
