The One-Sample K-S Test: TI-59 Programs for Discrete and Continuous Random Variables.
Abstract
The Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) goodness-of-fit test is a nonparametric test if the random variable is continuous. If the random variable is discrete the K-S test is not nonparametric. Two programs for the TI-59 programmable calculator are presented, 'Continuous K-S' and 'Discrete K-S'. They are designed to conduct a K-S test and display the significance level. User instructions and several sample problems are presented. Use of the 'hidden registers' in the TI-59 is discussed. The hidden registers are used extensively in the program Discrete K-S. (Author)
