An Investigation of Access Area Engineering Methods for AUTOVON.

Abstract

In this technical note we compare both qualitatively and quantitatively the two methods (AT&T and DCA's) being used to perform access line engineering on the current AUTOVON network. The DCA method was found to be superior but had one deficiency. We then present a method which overcomes this deficiency and performs better than the other two. (Author)
