Preparation of Nitrocompounds.

Abstract

Nitration of aromatics was studied with mixed 'fluoroacid' (i.e., FSO3H-HWO3), with transfer nitrating agent, such as N-nitropyrazole-BF3, and with Hg(++) impregnated Nafion-H catalyzed nitric acid under azeotropic water removal conditions. Both preparative and mechanic aspects were investigated. (Author)
