Decentralized Control of Large Space Structures.

Abstract

A development and analysis of a single controller, before and after the elimination of 'spillover' terms, is implemented to attempt to achieve desired response characteristics of the structure under evaluation. Using this derived data as a basis for comparison, a pair of decentralized controllers are implemented on the structure. Problems encountered with the implementation of more than two decentralized controllers are investigated. The structure used for the investigation is a lumped mass tetrahedron. (Author)
