Adaptive Motivation Theory.

Abstract

This report presents the theoretical foundation for a new set of propositions regarding human motivation called Adaptive Motivation Theory. The major proposition of the theory is that individuals undergo cognitive change as a result of environmental interaction. This cognitive change has implications for motivated behavior. In addition to a statement of the theory, activities for the past year and the next year are discussed. (Author)
