An Atmospheric Turbulence Model For the Dynamically Aimed Free-Flight Rocket (DAFR) Error Analysis.

Abstract

Previous error analysis of the Dynamically Aimed Free-flight Rocket (DAFR) utilized a linear model for the wind uncertainty. Also, the data used in the model had been filtered. This effort utilized a first-order Markov process to model the wind longitudinal turbulence uncertainty. The effect of terrain roughness is considered. (Author)
