Investigation into the Origin of Magnetic Properties of Amorphous Metallic Alloys.

Abstract

Many amorphous alloy compositions were studied to determine the effect of composition on magnetic properties, crystallization, ordering, stress relaxation, embrittlement, and formation. The effects of annealing were also studied. In addition, the application of amorphous metals to large transformers was reported. (Author)
