Microcircuit Cost Factors.

Abstract

A life cycle cost (LCC) model for estimating differences in microcircuit (MC) devices was developed based on parametric cost estimating relationships (CER's) and user provided data. By analyzing the impact in characteristics of a family of MC devices on the LCC, a computer program was developed to provide a guide for selecting optimal MC characteristics that minimize the LCC for a total system procurement.
