Fluvial Transport and Processing of Sediment and Nutrients in Large Agricultural River Basins.

Abstract

In this report background information on the Maumee, Portage, Sandusky, and Huron River Basins in Northwest Ohio is presented along with the methods used in the collection of river transport data. The report includes both summary data on loading from each watershed, as well as, detailed examples of the characteristics of nutrient and sediment transport as it occurs in rivers of this region.
