An Asymptotic Stochastic View of Anticipation in a Noisy Duel (I).

The noisy duel between two equally accurate duelists, possessing respectively 1 and 2 bullets, is viewed in the light of certain asymptotic distributions for their times of first fire. These distributions, reflecting the weaker player's need to anticipate, are derived from an approximating sequence of simultaneous games.
