Abstract

This is a planning aid report on fish and wildlife resources related to the Southern New Jersey Water Resources Study. The study area is known as the Camden Metropolitan area including Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties, New Jersey. This phase 1 report contains a general investigation of existing fish and wildlife resources. The material provides descriptions of aquatic and terrestrial habitats, fish and wildlife species, and public uses. A literature review is given for biota, land use, and water quality of the study area. Several local creeks, rivers and swamps are described.
