Strapdown Inertial Navigation Systems: An Algorithm for Attitude and Navigation Computations,

Abstract

An algorithm for strapdown inertial navigation and the associated theoretical analysis are presented. Vehicle attitude is maintained through quaternions, which are updated by a modified third order method; a split frame technique is used for solution of the navigation equation. (Author)
