Phase Noise Study. Attachment II,

Abstract

LinCom has investigated the phase noise requirements of a tracking system receiver when N data links occupy a contiguous system bandwidth and are used to, in addition to transferring data, obtain time transfer between (N/2) platforms. The basic concept of time transfer was investigated under N00014-82-C-2035. In this research effort, the total system phase noise to achieve the required tracking accuracy was investigated.
