Borehole Shear Device Phase II Development.

Abstract

The report describes the phase II development of the borehole shear device. Further design development work and in some cases hardware fabrication is documented and covers the following aspects of the device: Dynamic and static actuators, self boring attachment, modifications to borehole shear device probe, torque tube, couplings and instrumentation.
