A New, Directly Computer-Controlled pH Stat.

Abstract

The design and implementation of a computer-controlled pH-stat is presented. The titrant delivery system used in the design of the pH-stat is based on a computer-controlled droplet generator able to selectively add titrant aliquots of 0.06 micron L. Precise titrant control enables the stationary control of pH to within 0.0008 pH units. Algorithms for program operation are structured as autonomous concurrent tasks and are written entirely in FORTRAN. (Author)
