MX Siting Investigation. Water Resources Program. Technical Summary Report. Volume IIB.

Abstract

Results of hydrologic studies in 36 proposed MX deployment valleys within the Nevada - Utah siting area and the proposed Main and Auxiliary Operating Base sites in Coyote Spring Valley, Nevada and Escalante Desert, Utah shows that ground water is available for the continuation and operation of the MX project. Most of the valleys within the siting area have adequate ground water supplies. (Author)
