Marine Air Traffic Control and Landing System (METCALS) Investigation.

Abstract

A television tracker system for the AN/TPN-22 radar was designed, assembled, and delivered. A cursor whose position is determined by the radar's tracking solution is superimposed on a TV camera image of the aircraft on its landing approach. Alphanumeric data also appear on the display for video tape documentation purposes. (Author)
