Buried Insulated Antennas.

Abstract

Two methods of treating the buried insulated antenna are described, transmission line and moment methods. These two methods are compared. Calculations are performed and results given at HF for a range of antenna lengths and insulation thicknesses, giving the gain, front to back ratio and impedance. (Author)
