Ascending and Asymptotic Series for Squares, Products and Cross-Products of Modified Bessel Functions

Abstract

Asymptotic series for squares and products of modified Bessel functions were programmed as well as the ascending and asymptotic series for the cross products. These programs reduced round off error and led to precise calculation of stresses in thin-walled cylinder according to the equations of elasticity.
