TSAR: A Large-Scale Simulation for Assessing Force Generation and Logistics Support in a Combat Environment,

Abstract

The objectives of this paper are to provide an overview of the TSAR/TSARINA simulation models, and to illustrate their use with a simple application. The TSAR/TSARINA simulation models have been developed to provide a method of evaluating how a wide range of airbase improvement options could increase the combat capability of airbases during wartime. Following a description of model highlights, the application of these models is illustrated with some results from a recent analysis. (Author)
