Percentage Frequency Distributions of Temperature and Humidity for Australia (1963-77),

Abstract

The frequency distributions of ambient temperature and humidity listed in this report were prepared in the course of a study on the factors in Australian climatic environment that are of interest to the Defense Forces. A number of more limited frequency distributions of temperature and humidity have been published (1,2,3) but no comprehensive set of frequency distributions is available. The tables have proved to be of value in a number of contexts both within and without the Department of Defence. They are published to make the information contained in them more widely available.
