Defense ADP Acquisition Study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was directed at determining methods of reducing the time and costs involved in the Air Force acquisition of general purpose automatic data processing (ADP) resources. The focus of the study was on methods of improving the ADP acquisition process by (1) reducing ADP acquisition lead time, (2) minimizing ADP technology lag, and (3) improving the ADP requirements definition and approval process.
