Abstract

This report summarizes the significant research activities of the principal investigators some background for the major results, which fit together into a coherent research program, will be given in this section. The accomplishments in several areas are then described in the following section. Section III lists the presented and published work of the investigators during the contract period. A supplemental bibliography is included at the end of this section for articles which are not included in Section III, but are needed to discuss the background.
