Simulation and Related Research Methods in Environmental Psychology.

Abstract

Research efforts in environmental psychology often involve complex environments requiring specifically designed experimental technology to permit both casual inference and reliability/validity of the obtained data. A number of research methods centering around simulation and gaming methodologies are examined for their applicability to problems in environmental psychology. Among others, a recently developed quasi-experimental simulation method is discussed. (Author)
