Complete Statistical Ranking of Populations, with Tables and Applications

Abstract

A new statistical methodology called ranking and selection theory is introduced. This document reviews procedures for completely ranking a set of populations (from best, second best, etc., down to worst), gives new tables needed to implement these procedures, and considers several practical examples using real data.
