Employee Turnover: Individual and Organizational Analyses.

Abstract

Drawing on both the psychological and economic literatures and methodologies, the conceptual basis for modeling aggregate employee turnover in an organization is presented. The objective is to develop an analytic framework that will be useful at the policy making level in the organization. A working synthesis of psychological and economic perspectives should further our understanding and management of turnover phenomena. (Author)
