Computer Program for Calculation of Integral-Mean-Slope Correlation Parameter

Abstract

A computer program has been developed which calculates an aircraft integral-mean-slope geometrical parameter from detailed information of aft- fuselage area distribution. The IMS parameter correlates with high subsonic and transonic drag measurements and is utilized as a measure of aircraft performance.
