Abstract

This report is a user's manual for SNAP/D (Seismic Network Assessment Program for Detection), a computer model designed for assessing the ability of a network to detect and locate seismic events (i.e., earthquakes or explosions). Part I presents the analytical structure of the model, whereas Part II documents the computer code.
