Electron Dose Attenuation Kernels for Slab and Spherical Geometries

Abstract

Dose attenuation kernels are given for fission spectrum electrons in aluminum shields with slab and spherical geometries. Sectoring methods used for satellites and space vehicles are discussed and several mathematical relationships are summarized. Dose attenuation data for monoenergetic electrons are presented for several shield materials and geometrics.
