A Surface Recovery Technique for Deep Moored Vertical Arrays.

A surface recovery technique was developed for the retrieval of a vertically oriented array which had been anchored at a depth of 4550 meters. The array was severed within 100 meters of the bottom in order to retrieve two faulty anchor releases as well as the scientific instrumentation. (Author)
