Design and Implementation of A Backend Multiple-Processor Relational Data Base Computer System.

Abstract

A backend multiple-processor relational data base computer system was designed with the goal of implementing a data base management using state-of-the-art technology. The objective was to overcome the traditional limitations of data base management systems implemented on conventional type computer architectures. Hopefully this would solve the ever-growing proglem of information systems becoming obsolete in supporting the growing information needs of corporate industry.
